Dunno if this is the right place to post this, moderators can move this, but has anyone ever tried making a Stargate mod? I rather think it would be pretty cool if someone tried. I have no skills whatsoever, I just want to find out if someone tried or give someone the idea.

There is/was one hosted on Game Warden.  Someone posted ~6 mos. ago about restarting it.
If a man consults whether he is to fight, when he has the power in his own hands, it is certain that his opinion is against fighting.

Oh, ok cool. That project seems dead though. And I only really pay attention to HLP. I asked because Stargate seems to be almost perfect to port to Freespace open.

Maybe, but total conversions are a huge amount of work, much higher than making things set in the Freespace universe, and so have a high rate of failure.
