my modem has taken yet another annoying leap away from "working" instead of randomly going off for 2-3 hours, it gose off for about a day, then works every other day, this means you might not be seeing me in a while, and if it keeps up at this rate, I wont have a modem anymore:mad:

Do you use comcast? (dont know where you live.) If you do its comcast, I ve been having that problem too. They say its the heat but I think the're falling asleep.

I am using Comcast as well but I have not had any problems for quite a while; when I first signed up, I used to get the same things that you are talking about (at which point my dad got furious, called them up and blasted away at them for providing bad service

), but everything has been very good for the last few months.
