In the campaign I'm working on, the player is an SOC pilot, on board a fighterbay-equipped corvette. I'm considering having the SOC adopt the GTI's "Norse Deities" wing naming pattern, as a way of adding a little variety while making it easy to distinguish SOC wings from normal Fleet wings.
The player's home corvette, in that case, would carry five wings: Thiazi, Bragi, Geri, Roskva, and Scald. The problem is, FRED is convinvced that the player (who would be Thiazi 1) has to be in Alpha, Beta, or Gamma wing. Additionally, Bragi and Geri wings need to function like Beta and Gamma wings, with their loadouts subject to player change. Roskva and Scald need to function like Delta and Epsilon, being visible in the wingman status indicator.
I know you can use other names for Alpha through Epsilon in FRED- ASW and BP do it, among other campaigns,- but how?
