It was made for science fiction writers, but it is 100% accurate, so I highly recommend it if you're making new systems for the node map, etc.

A few names for races:

Speaking of names, Terran is another way of saying Humans or Man. Shivans came from Indian mythology as in Shiva I think. Then, what about Vasudans then? Did Volition just pick the name from the air?

I was thinking that maybe the name of the new race shuld be taken from some Earth mythology or tale or something. This is to follow the FreeSpace way of naming things and races.

However, I'm not very learnt in Earth mythologies and stuff, so can't really help you unless you want me to pick names from the sky.
