Hmm.... I was browsing in the special folder *the Extras for those of you w/ the SOTY Edition* Under music, there's a Notepad document that says something like this: I used biblical names to keep in tune with the original "Exodus" subtitle, which was dropped, and for inspiration. Plus, let's face it, some of the books have awfully cool names. : )
Spoon - I stand in awe by your flawless fredding. Truely, never before have I witnessed such magnificant display of beamz.
Axem -  I don't know what I'll do with my life now. Maybe I'll become a Nun, or take up Macrame. But where ever I go... I will remember you!
Axem - Sorry to post again when I said I was leaving for good, but something was nagging me. I don't want to say it in a way that shames the campaign but I think we can all agree it is actually.. incomplete. It is missing... Voice Acting.
Quanto - I for one would love to lend my beautiful singing voice into this wholesome project.
Nuclear1 - I want a duet.
AndrewofDoom - Make it a trio!

Ok sleep deprived.

Freespace: The users strike back.

Freespace 3

Freespace: Now your gonna get it!

The Ultimate Freespace

Galactic Emperor's World (you're just living in it!)

Freespace: Reciprocity [Inspired by the campaign and the fact that the events of FS1 cause FS2. I think it was the missing small shvian scout force thingy, ah yeah the Lucifer and it's battlegroup)

Freespace: Cause you don't own it jack!

:mad2:  Don't care must play!!!

Just a few examples of my thinking... Hope you enjoyed it.
Don't think of it as being outnumbered. Think of it as having a wide target selection !

Exodus would be a bloody good subttile... reflects almost exactly what happens to the GTVA in Capella, and what the Shivans may have been trying to do.

So it wasn't quite the second great war, because we did hold them off in Capella.

Suggestions:
  • Crisis in Capella

That was the title of the second mission in the fs2 demo.

I always thought of it as the Second Incursion.
Warpstorm  Bringing Disorder to Chaos, And Eventually We'll Get It Right.

I know there is a method, but all I see is madness.

Class of the Titans was also the name of a 2-part mission in FS2. (the one with the Bastion is Part 2.)

On a side note, I think that the High Noon mission should have been the one called Clash of the Titans II, since the current one does not really have an enemy "titan" in it. (there is just the Bastion and a few cruisers)

Freespace 2: The Deconstruction of Falling Stars

Freespace 2: Crushed Beneath The Tender Heels Of Britney's Hot Dance Moves
"Why does it want me to say my name?"

Rip off B5 all you want (that sorta works)...

BUT do not mention 'The Chesty One' in regards to my favorite game again! :mad2:

The Britany comment is a reference to the fact that THQ would rather bring out games based on Britany than buy the licence to FS3.

To keep up with the current trend in horrible-games-that-sell-inexplicably-well-and-spawn-numerous-spin-offs:

Freespace 2:  Starship Tycoon :p

Sub titles are ludicrous. What's wrong with "Arcanum", but no, it has to be "Arcanum, of steamworks and magic obscura" or "Operation Flashpoint, cold war crisis"

I mean "Conflict, Freespace, the Great War" is bad enough.

Hows about-

Freespace 2:  the one after the last one.  You know, the one with the spiky evil red things and the really big ships?  Yeah, that one.  but with an even bigger ship and more spiky things...er, just buy it, eh?

or

Freespace 2: Killing is good.

That way, FS2 would have got loadsa headlines in the sun, Daily Mirror et al and survived the curse of the tiny advertising budget.
