I'm playing in this world without any magic, no monsters, no dragons, it's frigging hard, but i am a lvl 83 accountant and need to work on my next level ...

(Anyone else played "the book of unwritten tales? ;-) )

I feel my life is less like an RPG and more like a desperate resource management game with debilitating events and crises ala Frostpunk, which soundtrack is now quite firmly stuck in my head.

Yes, agreed, although thankfully there's more meaning to life than a game of Frostpunk.  ;)

True. Though for me, Frostpunk is the most life-gamifyable game I have come across up to this date. I may be seriously over interpreting the game, but I can see parallels between the story of Frostpunk with bits of my life. Or maybe I am just predisposed to be melodramatic.

No, I gotcha, for sure Frostpunk has parallel in real life. It's just a bit too bleak to be a perfect comparison.  :D
