Crashing When Trying to Load the Campaign
Hi Everyone!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I recently installed a fresh copy of FSO on my computer and have been having a host of issues that I've never had before.  First it wouldn't recognize my joystick, then later it wouldn't recognize my keyboard. Fixed those by switching to Knossos.  The latest problem is the one I am at a loss as to how to fix and is the reason for this post.

Here is the log:  https://fsnebula.org/log/5f11381a44e6d941785a55f9
I can generate more if needed.

Every time I exit the game and attempt to resume a campaign with a pilot, the game will crash after you click on the doors and before you get to the mission briefings.  It'll start the load screen and hang a couple bars/dots in.  If I create a new pilot, said new pilot will work just fine until I have to close the game and then crash when attempting to resume when I restart the game.  It does not matter what mission I get to in the campaign before exiting/resuming. The result is always a crash upon resume.  I have gone as far as disabling all antivirus/malware software, running as an administrator, in compatibility mode (Windows 10, most up to date version as of 17 July 2020), but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I don't see anything that jumps out as critical in that log.

Hmm another option for more real-time debugging is potentially asking on the discord channel too :) https://discord.gg/ZCSY5H2

:welcome:

This guy tracked down a similar problem to a wireless controller dongle:

I would echo the advise to try some real-time debugging on Discord.
