Freespace is on the IMDB.
I've just been browsing the IMDb at college, and I've discovered that it has games on it, as well as films. This in mind, I looked for FS, and lo and behold, found it.

So there you have it, I always thought Kurtwood Smith was Bosch.

And if this has been brought up before, forgive me.

I have seen this movie and would like to comment on it
Found on under the comments.

[EDIT]Man, have those voice guys done allot of work.

You'd think most of the voice work would have been done by nobody's.

FS2 was ahead of its time in many ways. Now it's all the rage to do voice acting for games. Look at the cast list for GTA Vice City for instance.

Besides Wing Commander had already got Mark Hamil to do some work for them so they had to beat that :D

"Snipes", aka Stephen Baldwin, has actually been in a lot of stuff.  The Usual Suspects was probably one of the best, but the list is pretty long.  I knew Petrarch was in Independence Day (and Big as well as several others, though those are the two that I can remember offhand) but I never placed either Bosch or The colossus guy.

Also, speaking of Freespace being more widely known than most people give it credit for, does anyone ever visit the Relic boards?  There was a post about a HW2->FS2 total conversion, and several people actually seemed interested.  Many of those people loved FS back in the day, and would probably be interested to know it's still hanging around.

And DS9'r, he was Cohagan, it says so right next to the listing of the movie.

Stephen baldwin did the intro cutscene for sure. I knew that from the beginning when I played FS2 for the first time. I didn´t realize that he also did the voice for Cmdr. Snipes as well. Goddamn, Snipes didn´t sound at all like Stephen Baldwin to me!

But I did recognize everyone else. Kurtwood Smith does the voice of the in-game Colossus cutscene; he played Neil´s father in the Robin Williams flick Dead Poets Society as well as badguy Clarence in Robocop 1 (not to mention a bunch of other stuff in both TV and movies).

Ronny Cox played Bosch in FS2 and also was in Robocop as the main badguy as well as a bunch of other stuff. Can you believe that he and Ned Beatty were both child actors at the same time?

Robert Loggia played Petrarch in FS2 and (as everyone knows) also the general in Independence day. ´Nuff said.

Mike Trippiedi: don´t know him from Adam, but if he did all the other voices in FS2, including the female voice...

...I don´t wanna think about it. :shaking:

Huh, looks like I was right after all about Steve Baldwin not voicing Snipes....

...KT, what is it with you and Kirsten Dunst, anyway?

Forget Kirsten, I´d rather have Keira Knightley (the chick from "Pirates of the Carribean"). So what if she´s just 18? :D
