Well I've just spent half an hour searching on google and feeling all nostalgic about Zoids so my time hasn't been wasted

Now to pull the UK Zoids comics out of that cupboard and read them again.

Yep, it's a Zoid.  One I've designed for a certain young redhead with an icthy trigger finger...

This is actually the second verison of this idea, and the 7th Zoid I've conceived (the first was a dragon type, big enough to pick up a Command Wolf with one forearm:shaking: ).

My first one (the dragon) had lots of overlapping plates, but for this I wanted it to be clearly Zoidian, somewhere around Shadow Fox/ Blade Liger/ Liger Zero level (2nd gen/U-X).  Its based on a Igunadon/Hydrosaur form, and at high speed would run on its hind legs only.  It's about the only form that would fit from a Raptor/Bison merging (ie fuse the cores of her old zoids to get this).  If I ever get round to writing my Zoids fanfic, this will feature, as well as my dragon zoid.

I don't actually know the original zoids storyline or names that well. Here in the UK they were repackaged and had Mavrel Comics makes up a storyline with all new names for them.

Pretty cool toys though. I think I still have a bunch of them in a plastic tub near the comics

Still, allowed me to make more progress before posting:thepimp:

Head (except for cockpit interior), neck, and forelimbs done.  I'm planing on expanding the body by about 50%.  Colours are not final.  Thinking about a dark blue basis.

Modelled in TS6, rendered in TS3.1 (as TS6's rendering bit is not working:wtf: )

I was assuming it's reasonably small based on the size of those little rubber pieces that you cover the joints with So compared to Zoidzilla it is

Ah, now I see.

It's not meant to be small (by zoid standards).  In fact, it would quite big.  Think something a little bigger than the Gordos (the Stegasaurs one).

And it will unique, not general production, since its{text has been erased to avoid spoiling future Fanfiction story}.

My first own-design zoid was too unique (no caps at all, entire body covered by overlapping armour plates), and is quite unlike any other zoid.  Got around that by{text has been erased to avoid spoiling future Fanfiction story}.

No, I've only seen the english translationed versions of the first three amine(sp?) series.  Plus i recently came into ownership of four kits:D

Though that gave me the biggest surprise:

I mean, both the Tiger tank and the zoids are to the same scale (1/72)

Incedently, the amines appeared to show people jumping out of the cockpits to the ground...when the cockpits are like, three stories above ground:wtf:  It would be like being hit by a car doing 60mph:shaking:
