Smilies are annoying if they are too big because they make a thread seem like a joke, and if they're used too much here then it might just be seen as another Warpstorm.  Just an opinion though.

I think smilies like the gapping mouth would be fine. Anyting that shows emotion and only one of them; you don't need to be excessive. Another I might suggest is a tied up smilie face around the mouth, maybe with a chain. Currently I haven't seen one like this and is this. If you want it, I'll make one for you guys.
