The first one is a profile shot of a corvette-class ship I finished (I might still do some tweeking but she's finished for the moment) a couple of weeks ago... the second is just something I quickly whipped together today to show her off (30 minutes setup and render time)... As the first image states her name is the
Nova Eclipse, she's got 32 variable payload missile tubes and four triple-barreled, high-density, rapid-fire plasma cannon turrets. Max acceleration is around 200 m/s
2 using her gravitetic propulsion matrix (gravity drive), not to mention inter-stellar travel via her quantum slipstream drive (which she's using in the second pic). She's for a story I'm working on writing (it's not much more than a concept right now), and I probably won't be converting her to a pof since I don't know how...
Ship Size (meters): 28.13 W x 11.99 H x 45.33 L
Portal size: 1 Km in diameter (the portal's nearly 10 Km away from the ship in the second pic... I really need to cut back on it's size...

)
Polycounts:
- Hull: 5039
- Turret base: 864
- Turret barrels: 1163
- Total (Hull & 4 complete (base and barrels) turrets): 13147
- Missile (as barely seen in the first pic): 9936
Everything except for the text and my insignia was rendered in scene, the portal's volumetric and the nebula's just a textured sphere (a volumetric nebula of that size would take forever)...
Now, comments please!
[Edit] I forgot to mention that most of the polygons aren't triangles... If they were the poly counts would most likely be doubled...
