*Nitpick* The proton torpedo is enshrouded in an energy field that can protect it from glancing laser shots and such, thus the reason they glow in the movies. I see no glow. The model is awesome though.

Yup, the proton torp is the Krupx MG7-a Proton Torpedo, and we also seem to have an entry in our weapons file for the Merr-Sonn NG2 Heavy Rocket, not sure if it's the same thing as the Intruder or not, since I can't find any references to the NG2 online. Very nice job on these so far GalEmp.
Edit: Ok I can't find anything about the NG2, so I'm assuming someone had just made it up. We'll probably just get rid of that and have the Intruder instead. Or maybe both. Who knows.

Yes, it's a replacement for the Merr-Sonn, which I made up a serial number for. The Intruder is the only analogue to the Heavy Rocket I could find on Wookieepedia. Oh, and Retsof. Here's your glowing torpedo.

Yeah the glow will probably be an effect applied to the torp and not part of the model itself, hopefully we can find a way to achieve this. I wondered if it could have a shield mesh that is always glowing somewhat.

Will the proton torpedoes use the movie sound or the X-Wing/Tie Fighter sound? If you do use the movie sound, then what will the sound for concussion missiles be?

Thursday's warhead is the mainstay of TIE Bombers. Proton Bomb This is another tertiary weapon; it's slow, it has no homing system, but it can fire more rapidly than any other heavy warhead so it's perfect for unloading on big, slow targets like space stations or capital ships. Each individual bomb does less damage than a heavy rocket, but a full weapon bank of bombs has a greater payload than one of rockets. A word of caution, a gun bank normal of 0:-1:0 won't work. You'll have to angle it slightly forward or backward.

Tonight's update will be delayed since Goober himself is coming over in person. We plan on playing "Exodus" on Hard on my LAN, and saving every last transport.

We did it. It took us about 20 tries, but we finally did it with a bunch of Morningstars and ignoring the Gibborim until it started firing on us. It's also important to destroy the SCv Abraxis, then let that first wing of Nahemas finish off the Nebtuu. Otherwise you have yet another wing of Seraphim that jumps in solely to kill the Nebtuu and make your life difficult.
This has been fun.
Goober hates you all, btw.

Perhaps this is looking too far ahead, but what will the refire rate on the A-wing's missiles be? We see a pair of A-wings unload their entire payloads in about a second in RotJ, will that be standard, or will it be limited for gameplay reasons?

I thought those were two A-wings firing two missiles each.

You mean when they attack the frontal deflector shield generators of the SSD? I thought they were lasers...they even sounded like it.

First off, before this gets too confusing, were there any major differences in this scene between the original version, THX, and Special Edition/DVD releases? They may have completely changed how the A-Wings blew up the dome.
