Well it just survived a quite intense battle. Maybe it lost it's guns.
I do not remember this exactly.

Yes...this one seems to have lost its 2 big honking beam cannons on the front.

I just downloaded and played R3. Excellent job everyone!

My favorite ship in the game is the Primus-class Battle Cruiser. This ship brings heavy firepower to almost all arcs, while the Omega and G'Quan are heavy hitters forward, the Omega is a little light in the flanks.

The Minbari Sharlin is damn near invincible, so I left it out of my favorite ship options.

Thanks again for all the hard work and effort!

I always loved the Nova design.  If it were beffed up Omega grade power, weapons and armor I think it would give most things a good run for their money.

I agree. The Omega tends to want to broadside opponents and attack with its turreted pulse cannons. The only problem is that the destroyer's guns are out of range. At this point, the Omega becomes quite useless. Whereas the Nova has substantially more firepower in a broadside situation.

Is there any way to extend the range of the Omega's turreted pulse cannons in the FRED2 editor?

EA heavy crusier for some reason.

Omega-X because it looks so cool.

The Psi Aurora is my favorite fighter that is currently available. But I still want to fly a Rutarian!

In TBP or Babylon 5 in general?

In TBP, has to be the Aurora Star Fury - It just looks gorgeous, and so similar to the TV versions.
The updates to the pulse cannons just make it even cooler!

Nail gets a second place - It's a nice ship, also looks like it's TV-counterpart.  The best thing about it is the fighter beams - They look and sound freakin' awesome, even the barrel flash is a neat touch!

I wanted to say the Thunderbolt, but to me it looks kinda ugly and not that much like the TV version for some reason...

In terms of flying, the Badger. I can't have an Ares so the Badger is the next best thing, and OHK'ing fighters with a spread of 60mm pulse cannon fire is always very satisfying ;)

In the TV series... mmm... either Babylon 5 itself, or the EA Omega destroyers. The whole looks just screams "I'm Really F'ing hard, don't mess with me or I ram this particle beam up your exhaust port!"
My only regret is no one thought to mount heavy beams on the rotating section... would have been funny watching it cut big holes in other ships :D

Hey, I love Nova too, with so many guns it's looks freaking awensome.

Beams on the hab section would be funny. You could carve a perfectly circular chunk out of the enemy ship.

... that's not true...

I like the painting (reminds me somehow of the Kilrathi) and the design.

But I'll admit the Frazi is ugly. Ok, for my taste, but not really good either.

I would say:

Thunderbolt
Vree saucers close second (that mental "rain o' death" gun kicks ass)
Brakiri Cruiser third.

Most of the big capital ships rock though. I tend to change my mind from day to day. :doubt:

Shadow battlecrab. Deadly beauty. :)
Oh it's sweet how the darkness floating around.

Its all about style.

I was going to go with the Shadow Battlecrab or Sharlin, cos of there beauty and awesome power....
But the best is definetly the Hyperion / Midwinter. There just groovy. Modular and fairl srteamlined, with a brilliant arc of fire.... its probably one of the more realistic ships also.
To fly, its gotta be the omega starfury. Like the original, but better :D
Oh, and release 3's beam weapons on nial look like devine retribution. Hmm.  *thinks* Good name for a mission, that.
Yosh!!!!

Oh and btw, "My only regret is no one thought to mount heavy beams on the rotating section... would have been funny watching it cut big holes in other ships" In The third series, when B5 declared independance I'm fairly certain the one of the independant omega's destroyed a pursuing omega with a beam fired from the rotating section backwards.
