And as a note. Missile trails were not replaced since R2, only touched up a bit. I don't think we'll get new missiles trails for 3.0, maybe 3.1 though.

Xray lasers are redorange, not orange orange, they could still use a touchup.

I watched "Severed Dreams" today, and there was not a bit of orange in the x-ray lasers of the omegas.

Aah but if you watch "point of no return" and the last ep of season 4 with the god sats, the Omegas beams are orange in those eps, wonder why they changed them, i liked the red

Ahhh...they're still discussing about that..
Well, i was just collecting some DVD caps, and can say this:
- In "Severed Dreams" the X-ray beams are pure red

- In "No Surrender No Retreat" they are orange and pretty faint

So, they changed it....like the fighterbay light (from red to orange also), or the weapons effects, or the what you see in the engine from behind.....live with it.

The fighterbay red is soooooooo much more menacing, makes a bad-ass ship (Omega class) so much cooler.
