I don't feel like installing older drivers for just one game and I am not going to get an Nvidia card especially since I am gonna be playing HL2 especially when I get 90 - 100 fps in cs:s as is.

IMO the best looking ship in B5. Nice work it almost looks better than in the series.

Minor thing, the Beamglow is too yellow in the center.

Wow, that G'Quan does look really good. Way better than anything seen on TV, ironically. Nice one. :)

Now they just need to fix those ugly beamglows. :ick:

Nice G'quon. But I dislike bot the beams and the beamglows. They look too Freespacey for a B5 TC. I liked the subtle beams in the show a lot better with their red glows and the beams being only colored red only. Those you have now look  like Phasers.

About the weapons effects. I have to say I dislike everyone of the new ones I saw here. They look nothin like in the show minus the new 40mm bolt, and are strange in general like the new plasma effects here you threw in those random blobs in to show how detailed the weapon bitmaps are or something. Most of the old ones were *a lot* better.

If you want a picture, switch one page back, there you have 2 pics of it.
And they appeared quite often. Most thoughout the Narn-Cantauri war.
The only episode I where they appear AND of which I remember the name is "the long twilight struggle", where a fleet of them gets cut to ribbons before the centauri bomb Narn back to stoneage.

oh is it "G'quon" class ? I thought they were just "Heavy cruisers" and G'quon was a specific ship.

Class system means that the name of the first ship of its kind lends its name to the class. (I think this is the case)

BTW about beam effects, I found that the X-ray laser looks awesome if you remove the two inner graphics and size it down a small amount. I can post some pics of what I have later. As far as beam glows they should be extremely subdued and mainly only contribute a small white glow at the start of the laser.

Example:

BTW you could contact Cnl Pepper about that omega... its looking pretty nice.

The X-Rays look perfect on that picture.

But the look of the beams on the G'Quan would be good for the GODs. They had a bit of orange in it.

Hell yeah Deepblue, that's how a Particle beam(or X-Ray laser, I don't know in which way tjey look different) looks.
