Judging by that shot, it takes place during the Earth-Minbari war.  That being so, where is that red beam coming from?  IIRC, EA didn't have beam weapons at that point.

Beam cannnons = good.

BIG beam cannons = better

seems a little too BoEish though. Or is it just a teaser pic more than anything else?

I don't really like the impact effects of the beam.  It almost looks like the beam in originating from there.  Some find of fire effect would fit better.

Actually that (DaBrain's if I remember correctly) effect is quite fitting for an energy weapon impact effect when you see it ingame. :) Works well for both energy pulses and slash beams.

By the way guys, try to remember to use lvlshot tags, please. :)

Lvlshot just re-sizes the display of the pic on the page, it doesn't actually change the file size of the picture, it just maintains the formatting on the posts...

Shouldn't those blue parts be a brighter blue (is bright the right word? -> mix a little bit white into it if it where painting colors)?

The colours are fine. It's great to see what was originally my model finally get a lick of paint, and a pretty extensive makeover from Stithe. I can confidently say it has also become one of the more accurate (low poly) models of B5 available. This from someone who is really quite anal about such things.
Be warned: This site's admins stole 100s of hours of my work. They will do it to you.

Now that I think of it, those engine glows looks surprisingly good on TBP ships...
Currently TBP uses more traditional engine glows.
