How do you add these in Modelview.  The button is grayed out.

And what is the Eyepoint/mass section for?

How the hell do you make them, period?

well sit down, kiddies, this'll be a while.  first off, the pof editor in Modelview is incomplete.  you'll have to download FSMM2 (or Kazan's tool) for all the little goodies modelview doesn't have.  the eyepoint is where in the ship you look out from.  in otherwords, where the internal camera is placed.  mass gives an idea of "weight" for the object.  i.e. a Sathanas will have a larger mass than a Demon.  mass determines how eaisly an object can be "pushed" by an explosion, being rammed, ect.  so look in other models for their mass to give you an idea of how much mass your ship needs.  without mass your ship would bounce around a lot.  hope this helps.

So, the eyepoint is only useful for player-controlled ships?

That, and when you press / during the game (I think that's the right button).
