Here we go, my little baby sees the light of day. Some parts still need detailing, but it's mostly done.

A bit dark for my tastes, although if you're going to give us a nice pic later that's fine.
WE ARE HARD LIGHT PRODUCTIONS. YOU WILL LOWER YOUR FIREWALLS AND SURRENDER YOUR KEYBOARDS. WE WILL ADD YOUR INTELLECTUAL AND VERNACULAR DISTINCTIVENESS TO OUR OWN. YOUR FORUMS WILL ADAPT TO SERVICE US. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

Nice! It's thin enough that it has the impression of length, and I can see you've got some impression from B5 and so on as well... great work!

This ship looks fantastic. I'd love to see it from other views, or better still in game. Nice job.

Nice looking ship! What are its specs? Is it going to be featured in a campaign?

Nice work. I like the model especially, but just one question: What is that unicorn-horn-thing out the front?

The lighting looks great, and even matches the planet in the background in angle. Textures are sharp, background is nice.

Hmmmm....maybe a few more lights along the lower hull?

The spike is just that. I tend to stick them on the ships that I design. It needs re-designing. It' ssimply square from when this ship was going to go into FreeSpace. I may render up a five view shot tonight if I feel like it.

I think the sharp thingy in the front is supposed to be some sort of sensory equipment?

This is what the Phobos was ORIGINALLY going to look like...  NOW it is so much of a veritable war machine, this thing looks like a medical frigate

(Artimus can vouch for this  )

I like the look of this Damocles, the lighting and such I believe is perfect. (space isn't pink, bright and fluffy kids)

I hope that the final ship will have a nameplate texture, and also my only issue here is that the name should be white, with the lines of the underhull texture visible to give it a "plyed on decal" appearance.

I'd also in photoshop add some blinking lights on the "frontal spire" as well as make the windows appear to glow. (a rear, dull, engine glow effect would also look nice)

Having say a Perseus fly into view would also give us a good sense of scale.

I was going to comment on this... I love making new nameplates. I did this one for Grey's site.

Doh! That's not pink... it's umm... light red... yeaahh...

Check out this nameplate, it's a little more matching how the big V does them:

Hehe, I just like making pretty looking renders... as long as it's not totally stupid I don't think I care if real space would look like it or not (and in a Universe of untold size, how do you know it doesnt?)

wow that is nice, you finaly got into makeing models, I knew you'd be great at it.
I like pointy things I've been implementing them in a lot of my recent work (Ceres for example) so load it up with the pointys  , you're gona have to redo the turrets to get it ingame but that isn't any problem,
I would make the lower part of the front slightly longer than the top but thats just me.
