joystick flight controls
This may be a silly question, but how do i roll the ship using the stick?

Re: joystick flight controls
I roll using the rudder (the stick twisting on its base). You should map that axis in-game to make the ship roll, though.

  • A one hit wonder, you still want to touch this.
Re: joystick flight controls
And if you don't have a rudder twist on the joystick, you're stuck with rolling on the keyboard.
Every pilot's goal is to rise up in the ranks and go beyond their purpose to a place of command on a very big ship. Like the colossus; to baseball bat everyone.

Re: joystick flight controls
My stick has 4 axis (the standard X and Y, the throttle and the rudder), but when I configure it Windows says it has 5 axis :wtf:. It's a Trust GM-2500 Predator.

Well, the homepage is here:

I'm not sure what the 5th axis is, the manual .pdf I looked at was only one page.  I must have got the wrong one, but there were others you could check, as well as drivers...

Re: joystick flight controls
Just go to the controls menu and select the "Bank axis". Move your stick to the right or left, and that'll be that :)
I've also configured my stick in this way :)

Re: joystick flight controls
Also according to that description my joystick has only 4 axis... Maybe it's just a Windows problem... I dunno...
The important thing is that doesn't create any problem. And so far, it didn't :)
