Hmm, thx.

But I meant, to have the red FS symbol outlined (outside) with bluish silver, IIRC... I had a nice mental image of what I thought might look good, I think that was it, but I can't picture it ATM (need sleep). XD

Ok, I would try it when I get home. So silver brushed FS logo?

Wow! What can I say? This is great work, and to be honest, better than anything I came up with logo-wise.

I must say that this hit it on the right note; Your first instinct was correct, methinks. I've always been a fan of the GTVA logo, and the style used for the Halo logo really gets the point across. To see them together? AWESOME!

I still like the words used in this one:

If you could somehow mix them together perhaps, then that would be great! Even if not, I still enjoy all the work done so far to these logos! Thanks for your 'gifts,' and I'll have one of my own for you guys very soon...

hmm... i think the texture is not a good one for this kinda image. might be a good idea to use more of a rust kinda texture. better still, lower the optancy of the rust texture, and add a gradient, starting from solid brown which fades to blue after about halfway down, then bevil and emboss with a slight smooth setting so it mirrors the text.

i agree... if halo is written in freespace font it will look crap and same vice versa. i think we should merge these 2 images together. it will probably give the best result, unless someone else comes up with a better idea
