Sensors subsystem on capship
Does sniping Sensors subsystem on capships do anything to them? Or rather, do Sensors subsystem have any impact on game?

Re: Sensors subsystem on capship
I know that it will disable your radar and targeting abilities on a fighter. I am not sure it does anything of the sort on a capship, or if the capship AI even rely on those at all.
People are stupid, therefore anything popular is at best suspicious.

For the player, it will disable/impair radar and targeting functions at certain damage thresholds. (Dammit ninja Matth!)

I don't believe there is a built-in effect for AI-controlled ships, though you could cause various effects via SEXPs.
