The title comes from a story told by an IDF fighter pilot who flew an F-15, and one of his more difficult dogfights. His opponent was a MiG (21 or 23/27, not sure which), with a pilot undoubtedly skilled, undoubtedly capable...but he was flying an outdated MiG, so all his skill only served to prolong the inevitable. I can't remember it in detail, I fear, but it was a brief little couple-page story and it was quite good.

Setekh's picture showed the death of an NTF Hercules.

The dark image adds to the menace of what is already a very scary ship and the text overlay (btw what effect did you use?) makes it an idea wallpaper

Just a combination of blurring, moving and transparency. No big deal, just play around with it yourself and see how easily you get good results.

Hey FSF, what are you using to do your renders? Fair enough... Photoshop I'm guessing for the text. But how are you getting the shots of the ships etc?

I just take FS screenshots And I do quite some post-processing in the GIMP, yeah.

Well, if you think that they need better fonts, you could recommend some from DaFont.com...

The only issues I have is with the occasional common error, such as typing "Alpha 4" as "alpha 4".
