Ah, ok. That's an interesting topic throughout the history of SciFi.
I mean: basically it is useless to have colorful ships flying around. And people are used to watching "monochromatic" ships by watching Star Trek and Star Wars and some others as well (WC3 where most stuff is grey with blue).
In other SciFi the color is important to show a ship belongs to a certain faction or race, and some just use random colors for everything.
Many WC fans like the colorful designs from WC2. In WC1 all Terran ships had almost the same colors, in WC2 there were totally different ones around (Broadsword and Ferret, Epee, Rapier, all different). Some fans disliked the "boring" (a.k.a. more "realistic") colors of WC3 while some liked those. Priv2 uses the WC2 approach, with colorful stuff everywhere.
I think it is a matter of personal preference after all. But look at it this way: Those are civilian/clan ships. Civilian airplanes and cars and ships and stuff in real life tend to be more colorful than military ones. Perhaps that was the idea. Also Priv2 is kinda surrealistic anyway. Maybe you should take drugs and try again
(no, please don't)
