recent MacOS X 3.6.9 source
well, I think a question only taylor can answer

is there a recent MacOS X 3.6.9 source available?

or at least a diff for the annoying mouse pointer bug near the lower end of the screen?

I try to get a recent MacOS X 3.6.9 build up for "The Babylon Project"

Re: recent MacOS X 3.6.9 source
There is a build like that, but it's specific to another mod.

I'll just go ahead and make a new plain 3.6.9 build with that bug fixed plus a few other very minor ones and post it for you tomorrow.

Re: recent MacOS X 3.6.9 source
Well, I'm assuming that I'll get this done anyway. :)

The build is done but I haven't been able to successfully upload it yet due to some Internet flakiness which keeps resetting the connection and corrupting the file.  I'm going to give up for now and try again Friday morning when I upload the first bi-monthly builds.  I'll let you know.

Re: recent MacOS X 3.6.9 source
is there a new build available..?

I was not very active the last few weeks due to a lot of work in RL, so maybe i missed something.

PS: I just noticed that in fso3.6.9 and in fso3.6.10 the 3d ship choice in MacOS 10.5.3 PPC(G5) and Nvidia 7800GT is broken (fullscreen and windowed mode). It is working on MacOS 10.5.3 Intel/AtiX1600, though. Can anyone confirm this? (It is not a problem of my fso installation, because it is working in 10.4.11.)

Re: recent MacOS X 3.6.9 source
It turns out that I actually had prepared a new 3.6.9 build for release in December.  Unfortunately I ended up in the hospital the next day and apparently forgot about it after that.  So instead of the new build I made a couple of weeks ago (which had more than this one fix in it) I just made sure to get that older build put into the proper place.

So, give it a download again and the PBO crash should be fixed now (http://fs2source.warpcore.org/exes/osx/FS2_Open-3.6.9.dmg).

Re: recent MacOS X 3.6.9 source
Thank you very much, taylor. The new 3.6.9 build works great.

Is a recent source tarball also available? I'd like to compile a TBP 3.6.9 and WCS 3.6.9 specific build. Thanks!

Re: recent MacOS X 3.6.9 source
I updated the "Current OS X and Linux versions ..." thread with new builds for Linux and OS X, as well as a source tarball, but all of that is from current trunk.  Not sure if that is what you are looking for or not.

I can post a tarball of the updated 3.6.9 source I made that 3.6.9 build from though, if you want it.  Just be aware that the WCS build is customized beyond what is generally available, and I don't have a copy of those changes any longer.

Please post a tarball of the updated 3.6.9 source. I'm aware of changes to the code for WCS and BtRL but if I do not get it work with WCS I can use it for TBP. Karajorma (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,40036.msg1091308.html#msg1091308) thinks a 3.6.9 based build is necessary for multiplayer in TBP, but his codebase did not compile under MacOS X...
