How did the Colossus wind up as a POF then?
There has to be a way to get from C4D to POF. Anyone have Cinema 4D?

You do realize that the Arcadia has no turrets too, don't you?

Yeah, but turrets are easy to do in PCS2. I don't get what's all the fuss about getting them set up beforehand. I do 100% of my turret data in PCS2. (well, besides the actual physical model)

Besides, once it's in POF, it can easily be converted to DAE or COB then worked on in TS or 3dsmax or anything.

The Nephilim needs HTLing pretty badly. It's already ugly, and its relative obsolescence is doing it no favors. I do not envy the modeler who takes on that task.

Actually, I think the Nephilim looks pretty cool in its own freakish mechanical horror like way. Its textures are pretty good.

Nephilim is probably my all time favorite Shivan ship, but it does need some loving.

Well, that was more of an Arcadia successor IMHO. It was only remotely related to the original one.

The Rahu looks okay, actually. I don't think it NEEDS to be HTL'd, but it definitely would look better.

To be honest many of its part look outdated, under a modelling point of view. The textures significantly improved the model but they're not enough...

actually I am sort of half heartedly working on some stuff right now, but I am but one man, there is only so much I can do.

I think any thing not in the MVPs should be considered not only fair game but high priority fair game, if you think you can do better than what is in the MVPs currently go ahead and give it a shot, continued competition can only be a good thing. but priority should be given to the things that are still more or less retail.

Something's making me think that the ends of the arms and the front of the bridge on the Typhon are old subspace rift textures...
Also one of the random Silent Threat cinematics show that those arms have a depression at the ends instead of just being completely flat...

i definately agree that the arcadia needs a htl upgrade... i get depressed just looking at it when i'm playing a mission that features one -.-;;

I know galemp had the HTL Collie, not sure about the Arcadia. But that Arcadia is too different looking anyway. It would be more like an Arcadia Mk II.
