ASW is just awesome! :D

Yeah, it just doesn't get enough love in this thread. :)

I don't get it... Are the mirror textures intentional?

Otherwise the Knight looks great.

Otherwise the Knight looks great.

I would presume so as it is a WoD LSF ship

Re: A celebration of Freespace
Those are Codori shield hits alright, and yeah the LSF (JGASF ver.) uses reflective armor plating which makes them shiny as hell, which is kinda pretty.

Haha, the shielding never occurred to me because it 1) involved beams and 2) was hitting a capital ship.

Re: A celebration of Freespace
Big battles with lots of fighters are awesome.  In this mission, my team goes against three Shivan cruisers and 36 Shivan fighters and bombers.  The friendly warships' anti-capship weapons are being jammed by a Shivan comm node in the background.

At the end, all the enemy fighters were destroyed with help from my team's capital ships.  The enemy cruisers survived, albeit beamless, and unfortunately, all my wingmen died from the onslaught of fighters.

BTW, it is quite awesome to see enemy fighters in front of you being chewed up by flak.

I've been wondering what those "glass cracks" on Aesdher's surface are??
With the rapid increase of FS fan-made campaigns, we're giving the GTVA a harder time with more violence and genocide.

Yes, they are. We didn't make them :nervous:

And yeah, we'll fix the envmaps with the next ASW1 release (which is due after the next FSO/MVP release).

The skybox in that mission is on the low-res side, but it's a cool concept.

Hostile Infi ftw!

The way he just fires all of his beams (including main beam weapon) while gliding was totally awesome.
