So what is your favorite fighter in Conflict Freespace? Note that I added the GTB Athena to this poll as well, because it IMO, it's more equal of a heavy assault fighter than a true bomber.

So, my vote goes out to the Athena :cool:

Herc, it can carry the prometheus and banshee and is armored.  If the Athena could carry the prom, then it would be #1

Apollo, just for the design, not its performance (although it's a good all-around fighter)

Whoops. I definitely just voted for Ulysses but I meant Hercules. Yeah firepower. Damn Greek names, they're all the same.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".

Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

I love all the fighters pretty much equally, but you add the Athena...

The Athena is my favorite for one simple reason: best gun configuration. Ever. All four shots on target every time you hit.

Herc. Just think about it - Quad gun array...

I love to shoot Basilisks down with the Herc.

Screw the MK2 version. Less guns = MK2?!

On the other hand I like the Valkyrie too.

I don't really have a fav. I choose according to mission requirements. But i've usually used the hercules if possible due to its many guns, so it gets my vote.
Also goes by 'Murasaki-Tatsu' outside of Hard-Light

I have to say, the Herc was my favorite in the beginning of FS2... (untill the erinies came along at least)...
