I know it happens to all the ships, but it is the most annoying visual bug that the (truely excellent) programmers haven't gotten around to fixing yet.

The BMPs are from an older media vp set, but the TGAs are newer.
TGA's can be viewed in Quicktime. Or at least thats what I use.
I'm not sure about anything else.

If it's broken tell me, because that place was yelling at me when I uploaded it.

Can IrfanView opent .tga files? Or even GIMP? I don't feel like downloading yet another graphic viewer/editor.

Umm, just use something like a graphics card tray tool
It should let set up a hotkey sequence for taking screenshots in a specified formate in a specified location
For me it's Alt-S, for taking jpegs, in my screenshots directory
No need for converting something like tga's
Keeps you from having to remember which directory in the fs2 main directory has your screenshots
Also please remember to use fs2's toggle hud feature

Yeah, I've programed very little, but just enough to wonder how that would be fixed, or if it is even possible to fix, but you know what they say, a little knowlage is a dangerous thing.

Yeah, i wouldn't really call it a bug, everything in a species fleet uses the same thruster glow of various sizes
You'd have to do something like personalized thruster glows for each and every ship or something
I don't see this bug going away ever
You could come up with something like when a thruster glow collides with the hull of the ship it just cancels out right there or something

Now i can take screenshots of it
But, does anyone know the status on the htl moloch?
I really have no clue about it, i'd like to take pictures of the new one
