Good point. I was thinking of the new capship explosions (even the ones produced by blob turret impacts!), which are severely hawt.

The ones with trails are anti-capship blobs that leave shockwaves. The ones without are anti-fighter blobs that move very quickly and are fired in streams. This modified Hades model is the one from TPI, with around 70 turrets.

Yes they are perfect and they look great, just a little dark for an explosion is all i mean.
