And plus to further support the issue with FreeSpace and their borked sizes, observe how several Interceptors are massive in comparison to a decent amount of heavy fighters, like the Astaroth or Horus being slightly longer and wider than the Ares, the size of the Pegasus being comparable to the Tauret despite being a stealth recon fighter, the Dragon is incredibally small considering the size theme of the rest of the displayed ships, the Perseus and Ulysses also follow suit but to a lesser degree.

Ships that you consider too big are actually very flat, Pegasus is very thin from any other direction.
Smae goes for other (especially Vasudan) fighters, Ares is quite tall and bulky.

Actually mass does matter even in zero gravity. The more mass engines/thrusters have to propel, the slower acceleration is. Of course in FSverse, it doesn't really matter since table values can be anything for any size of ship.

Mass is a property of all matter that does not need a gravitational field to exist.  It exists independently of any other values, since it itself is a means of quantifying matter.  Mass has plenty of value in zero gravity.

You can post anything that has been done on FS engine, I've seen pictures from the Babylon project here IIRC.
