Yep, it's an atmosphere skybox with bloom turned on, so far as I know. It looks great.

The bloom factor's a bit too overdone for my tastes, but that looks fantastic regardless.  Hard to believe those shots are from the same engine. :)

Nice ship.  I think that color just looks hideous though.  It looks like it was painted by the humans from Sword of the Stars.

Maybe it doesn't work so well on the Su-93, but I think it looks excellent on the Su-97:

Even mauve?

Boystrous 19 year old temp at work slapped me in the face with an envelope and laughed it off as playful. So I shoved him over a desk and laughed it off as playful. It's on camera so I can plead reasonable force.  Temp is now passive.

Woolie, you might want a smaller FOV.  That moon in the night shot is pretty distorted.

Are you running on widescreen, Betrayal?

The Raynor's pretty cool. You really need a turret-angle.tbm so those turrets don't stick up so awkwardly, though. There'll be one in the BP Director's Cut you can feel free to grab; it should work fine for the Raynor assuming the turret numbers are all the same.

You can fiddle with the scaling factors in FRED to fix the egginess, I have a feeling it's not FOV related since he seems to say it's always that way, and looking at them head on they would appear normal if it was FOV related.
