Post by: Goober5000 on October 10, 2010, 10:51:24 pm
Did Gibbs ever slap himself on the back of the head?

From TVTropes: Gibbs has also done this to himself after he compromised evidence to let a Marine (who normally wouldn't have gotten in, due to health reasons) avoid confessing to a crime he didn't commit.

I do not remember what the episode title was, or which season it was in, but I do remember him doing it. He just took some evidence from Ducky, then went up the elevator to Abby. In the elevator, he swapped the evidence, and slapped himself.

Awesome! Never realised he'd done it to himself before! Shall have to hunt that episode.

I recall more details of the episode. It was early on in Ziva's tenure and featured an ambulance blowing up on the way out of Bethesda...

...you know what, ****it. SPEAK TO ME, EPISODE COLLECTION!

S3E16, Family Secret.

LOL, now all we need is an NCIS campaign for Freespace 2.  You have the "crime scene" mission where you fly your ship around lots of debris and involves a lot of scanning.  You'll get attacked in that mission, but the perpetrator remains unknown.  Then you have a "transport" mission where the evidence is taken back to a GTC Faustus for forensic processing: you have to guard the convoy.  Then you have a "processing mission" where the evidence is processed on the GTC Faustus, but the ship is sabotaged and attacked.  Protect escape pods.  Perp shows up again, but this time tells you in code that there's hidden evidence back at the scene of the crime.  Then the perp escapes.  Then you have another transport mission to another processing ship.  Then you have a "crime scene revisit" mission where you go back to see if there's any evidence you missed.  This time someone else tries to destroy all remains of the scene, with bigger ships.  You realize someone high up doesn't want the truth to be discovered.  Other missions follow like talking to ppl connected to the case, kinda like the SOC missions where the other guy talks a lot :) .

Your wingmen should be like Tony, Ziva, and McGee, descendants of them.  Of course they know nothing about the actual NCIS show ;)  Maybe make a special "Gibbs ship slap" :D .

To top all this off, it would be great to have a female as the perp :D  But the perp may not be the one who caused the incident at the crime scene.  Time for the Almighty GUT to kick in :D  The ending I leave to you, but somehow Alpha 1, aka a descendant of Gibbs, solves the case.

Now somebody, MAKE THIS!

Or heck heck, Desperate Housewives! :P

Or heck heck heck, The A-Team! :wakka:

I should stop that.

If an A-Team campaign were to be true to the show, every member of Alpha wing, including Alpha 1, would have to have horribly inaccurate weapons that do nothing but miss their enemies (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ATeamFiring), and kill every nearby bystander (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/InferredHolocaust).
