I'll see if I can latch myself on a 4 pack for discount this weekend but I'm in regardless...I'll be around today, a little bit of tomorrow, and this weekend, but I'm not sure I'll be able to play much since I've had Borderlands crash on me a lot with VC C++ issues.
ps. also dl'ing the original again ... anyone up for game (or just for look on the free weekend), just call via Steam...
I already pre-ordered on Steam...Heh, I Dolted around a bit for Space Marine, but I probably won't be Dolting for BL2 since there's already a lot of people here on HLP who will be playing BL2.
Steam name is 0rph3u5 or [Dolt] 0rph3u5 (depending if the Relicnews Dolts are gathering for Borderlands 2 as well) and I can be found via the HLP Steam Group
unless this is one of those bastards that requires steam even on the hard copy. and probably doesn't tell you on the box.
Yeah, Borderlands 2 is one of those games. Gearbox ditched GameSpy in favor of Steamworks for this installment.
You're going to have to go to your store, pick your game up, and then come back home and install it when you could have just pre-loaded it on Steam. :p
Same here. Only 2 days left to go!
Indeed. Gods dammit this is the digital distribution age you ****ers, get with it already.

That's because phasewalk was RIDICULOUSLY overpowered. :P
That's because phasewalk was RIDICULOUSLY overpowered. :PWasn't anything compared to how ridiculously, brokeningly overpowered Brick's power was.
I raise you one annoying quest reward! My Assasin (currently 35, finished story mode on normal) got this around lvl 30...I got that gun a bit earlier. Do note that it is slightly bugged, if you finally get rid of it, the nagging effect will spread to every other gun in your inventory. Fortunately, restarting the game fixes that issue.

If there was one thing...just ONE THING that didn't need to be turned up to 11 in this game, it was the annoyingness of Claptrap. I seriously hope there's a quest later on where I get to fire it into the sun. Is it wrong that I would stop fighting Handsome Jack if he would just let me become a Claptrap-exterminator instead of a Vault Hunter?Haters gonna hate.
With those weapons, it's like this. Once they're dry, or you hit the reload button, the gun will be thrown like a grenade, and then explode, while a new model of that gun is being spawned in your hand. It's quite awesome.that is amazing

Torgue guns are about EXPLOSIONS and MACHISMO and ENGINES and EXPLOSIONS and LOUD NOISES and EXPLOSIONS. You know what sucks? SUBTLETY. You know what’s awesome? NOTSUBTLETY. And also EXPLOSIONS. Every single shot fired from a Torgue gun EXPLODES.
The Jakobs corporation has held to certain values through the years. Family. Honor. Always aiming for the head. When you need to kill your enemies with a single shot, you buy Jakobs: the corporation’s founder, Montgomery Jakobs, always believed in damage above all else. Accuracy? Pah. Recoil reduction? Don’t make me laugh. Elemental effects? Just a bunch of silly fireworks and nonsense. No, the Jakobs corporation believes that there’s nothing better in the world than a big-ass bullet that can tear a man’s head clean off.
Hades has this terrible habit of stealing all the good loot :doubt:It was on accident, I am just a premature button pusher. :(
Insane rocket launchers, you say?
