Title: Note to every mission designer in every mod (including Diaspora)

We've been working with it on BP and it's a godsend - please use M!M's new turret hotkey script in your missions! I honestly think it should even go in the MVPs (though maybe they'd rather wait for a codeside solution?)

Any Bearbaiting-style 'destroy this specific subsystem' objective is infinitely easier on the user experience if you can just hit F9 and have that subsystem or turret targeted.

Battuta has had a call-to-arms about this on the scripting forum for a few days (about a week now?), not followed it beyond the opening exchanges myself, so you guys got this thing pretty nailed now then?

Well, as long as we are noting mad awesome scripts that everyone should consider using... Here's another. (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=74716.0) Checkpoints for non-battutas and forget ever using that horrid red alert system again.

I was planning on making the red-alert system non-horrible once antipodes is in trunk. This is definitely better than using red-alert in the meanwhile.

Hell, I'll have to check this out and see if it means I don't need to bother. :D

This script is also amazing. I use it for checkpoints, it's way better than the original technique.

Sound very very usefull ...

*sigh* One day I'll finally catch up with all that innovations to FREDing that came along while I wasn't looking too hard...
