StarCraft
IS strategy in its best form... The experts in the game have their strategys set up on EACH map... how many probes/drones/SCVs to build before building a barracks and all.
When I first started playing the game I played Protoss, because I was a stuck up defensive player, and their photon cannons rock in that department. Thing is, when I played multi-player, I died EVERY time because I never really build units!
Thats when I starting learning from other players... the way they don't build very many stationary weapons and build lots of units. I tried mimicking that, but I never got really good. Thats when I changed to Zerg. I found I wasn't so bad with them, using Zerglings at first. After I lost a bunch of times I started focusing towards Hydralisks and...sure enough, I've won a few times after doing that. I still have a lot more to learn in that, and develop my strategies correctly, but StarCraft is full of strategy. Mostly using units in the correct manner, such as Guardians backed up with Scourges or such.
