It's been out a while, but I just got it recently and I thought I should say that it is a truly kickass game. And ph33r my Panzers or Cossacks.

Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

You should also purchase the expansion Play the World. The multiplayer is still a bit screwed up right now, even with the patch (game lags and sometimes crashes), but it is worth it for the refinements in single player as well as the new civilizations (Ottoman UU Siphali kicks ass, 8.3.3 works extremely well against Rifleman).

Hehe, usually I don't bother pimping sites, but here is a Civilization site that I think is truly excellent.

Panzers are very nice. The stupid Samurai kept on beating my Calvary. Then I develop the Panzer, and the game is over very quickly :p
