I have big plans, now if only I could see them through.

Just out of curiosity, did either of you actually do any research into Lindows before dismissing it so blantantly? :rolleyes:

From what I understand, Linux usually has two main interfaces, KDE and Gnome. And as far as I know, Lindows is a third one, but specifically made to be as similar to Windows as possible, just without the crashes.

Yes and no. Any Linux distro can run certain Windows apps using WINE (WINdows Emulator), so there's nothing special about that.

I can't blame them. :)

AFAIK, emulators are to simulate different hardware - WINE just provides all the Windows libraries needed to run Windows apps under Linux. :)
