do not torment the sleep deprived artist, he may be vicious when cornered,
in case of emergency, administer caffeine to the artist,
he will become docile after that,
and less likely to stab you in the eye with a mechanical pencil

:p Second from the right. The second person to my left is Adi Avitan, one of the soldiers kidnapped by the Hezbollah in late 2000.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

What's the recipe for thermite, again? I'm resorting to buying the stuff, I haven't taken chemistry in years and my skill at chemical flashbombs is limited to the gasoline and gunpowder types.

[color=66ff00]I know a lot of you are fairly ingenious when it comes to troublemaking so I'll post something you might need to know:

99% of the stuff related to this area of 'recreation' on the net is either an industrial process carried out under the strictest conditions, or some idiot who heard a recipe from another idiot that either doesn't work, or that works so well it'll kill you. Hate to sound like the voice of reason considering the stuff I used to mess with but this stuff can and will go wrong.
Play with slow burning powders if you have to, anything more is simply overkill and if you aren't aware of what I'm talking about when I refer to slow burning powder, then stop now, and go buy some fireworks, they're a lot safer and they pop in bright sparkly colours. Bliss. :D

Also, tennis ball bombs DON'T WORK!

I tried it with a few mates, it just split and spilled the matchheads everywhere.

thermite is fairly easy to make, and is made under most chemistry courses as a demonstration at least, just like putting fire on magnesium is.

I'm sure they do, but I don't intent to try it.
I've given up with explosives now, moving on to more intricate, and subtle, methods of mischief.;7

Maeg: Which is why I have a three-foot deep trench in my backyard for hiding under when I blow up really big stuff. And also why I didn't Google it- most of the explosive-makers I've seen online are apparently brain-damaged from exposure to gasoline fumes, and wouldn't know high-grade Semtex from 10W-40.

Also, I've made my share of kabooms under the tutelage of various guerilla warfare guides, so don't patronize. Granted, they're mostly gasoline-based (molotov mortars and the like), but still...
