General FreeSpace had another bumped voting, wouldn't it be possible to assign somebody as moderator to the forum to end this?
One who might be able to close older threads.

I already announced my retirement twice, yet here I am. If I bring up that topic again, don't believe a word.

1) There's a "report post" function. Use that instead of making new threads.
