To release or not to release...
... that is the question.

Anyone remember the campaign I was making, Revelations?

Well, it seems fairly certain that I won't be able to complete it (unless we win the lottery). So, I'm wondering (and looking for a vote here) if I should just release all my ideas and notes for it; both to see people's opinions of it, and to supply other people with ideas (or even if someone wants to pick it up where I left off).

My other idea is that instead of getting models, modding tables, and building FRED missions; that I should just release the campaign as an web story, where each page would tell the story of each mission (since a story would take a lot less time (and no testing) than a playable campaign).

So, what do you think?
A) Release all notes.
B) Make it a story.

Thanks all,
Joe.
No, he's not back for real, just popping his head in to say "hello" while on break from classes.

Ouch. It really depends.

I'd release the stuff you've finished unless you intend to use it somewhere else. Ship models are always welcome

do what ever you want! I think modders usually have set mind sets for what they want but reallesing a stroy might get people to pilfer it

the models are always welcome... to other people - I make all my own. I also make lots of turrets...

No, I never made any models, just table entries (new weapons, and an upgraded Arcadia and Mentu).

After all this time it was just still mission notes, ship names (that I'll release as I had a whole text file of names), and a few missions (oh, and also squad logos).

And yup Setekh, I haven't had a job since August, so I've got to focus more of my time on learning new skills than building game missions.

And as for Aldo's option "C"... well if anyone wants my notes, I'll send them over, maybe get some feedback on if it would have been a cool campaign.

Joe.
