if you could convert the Bastion mainhall to FS2?  You'd probably have to extract and double the ani frames for it, but we already have a hi-res background image.....

Didn't the Babylon Project do something like that? I'm fairly certain it's possible.
EDIT: Oh, you're asking if someone would do it

You would have to extract and double the anis, as well as find the exact coordinates for them for the table, make an animation mask, make a help overlay, and do it all again in low-res. I don't think it's worth it, if you look at all the crap you have to go through.

Ani's are fine like they are... ive used em on galatea to fs2, but you must open the appropriate hall.tbl and edit the coordinates

the indicated coordinates are the ones for the first ( ie top/left) corner of the ani. You can find the coordinates easily thx to any paint prog ( move the mouse at the right place and check its coordinates, et voila   )

Like for an imagemap on a website, I guess.

I was just thinking that we have a Hecate (aquitane) mainscreen, but no Orion.... it might be nice to have an alternative.  Before i realised that the 'Basiton' in FRED2 was actually the Psamtik, I was going to just use the Orion screen for Reciprocity.
