I love it GW!!! Thank you for making it open release. I can't wait to get my hands on it and texturing it once it's been mapped (Everyone knows how I love to retexture stuff when it model is ready for taking textures as I can't map, just change existing ones).
I like the name Albatross, plus I envision it a a medium size bomber, but since it looks really fast (from it's profile and 4 engines) I'd call it an intercept bomber.
The point of an intercept bomber is to be fast enough to keep pace with the intercept fighters so they can clear a path for them and not be lagged behind. have really low offensive armaments, in regards to dogfighting, but be able to quicly carry a potentially devistating payload against the enemy cruiser to capital class threats that appear suddenly (like the alert 5 forces on aircraft carriers. Always ready for launch and intercept).
Even if they and their escorts are incapable of destryoing the enemy, it is their mandate to tie up enemy force and inflict as much damage as possible till reguar forces can be brought to bear and put into strike position. They say intecept fighter pilots are crazy, think of how totally wako an intercept bomber pilot has to be? (think of flight of the intruder)

I do not know if there is a bomber already created that fits that description, but the moment I saw this model It clicked in my mind that is the role I envisioned it playing.
The model is sweet! please don't touch the wings, but since it looks like it could be a trans-atmosphereich bomber also (like the ones from starship troopers, that operate equally well in space or against planetary targets) I'd suggest only one major thing. Add a pair of tailfins not over the engines directly but a little more forward like over the engine housing (if you understand what I mean?) from where it looks like your engines are mounted to the far rear hull.
This is one of the coolest models I've seen (no joke)... WHEN can we get it? [Drools on keyboard like Homer, "Ummm Model (ARRRRH!)"] lol
PS: the fins should only be 2 on top and none on bottom.
