No, but Plasma has personally told me that he has since added two additional species and plot branches to the campaign.

This is also tied to the campaign now being a total conversion for Half-Life 2 as FS Open doesn't have the pixel shader support and physics systems he's looking for. Of course with all of the new graphics power, the ships will be remodeled again.

Though I personally would rather just see it released, he has a vision...

Are you sure he's using the HL2 source as a base? I thought he was aiming for converting at least 40 US cinemas into holographic projection units and found that the HL2 code couldn't output superior enough graphics for that to work out.
