Alright folks, yesterday when I officially had the worst luck in the world, my TV-OUT decided to quite on me. I have a Radeon 9800 PRO, using a composite cable for my TV-OUT, without ANY problems. Yesterday, when I switched between my computer cable on the tv and my video camera, suddenly when I switched the cable BACK to my PC, the signal went all screwy. The colours got all dark and saturated and there was interference. It was all jaggedy on the sides. I tried everything, from turning my computer off and pulling my card out. Nothing. I did however left my computer off, with no power, over night and it did seem to help in the image quality. The colours are still a bit saturated and theres slight interference, you can see it on white text and lines, and some sort of scrolling vertical bar going from left to right. Its see through and most of the time very faint, if not even there.
Can anyone help me figure this out? The only thing I can think of from the top of my head is that theres seems to be some sort of Charge that jumped into my radeon card, or to be exact into the TV-out s-video area, cause the picture got better over time. Maybe I should just pull out my card and leave it overnight on my desk, and try it in the morning? Hoping that the charge would have left? Or go drastic and drain any charge in my card? Grounding perhaps?
