Looks like we're not alone...
Read the comic - it's set after the initial "apparent" defeat of Sauron and the destruction of the Ring.

What you could complain about is the fact that they're both back in what seems to be Frodos home - which he left in favour of going with the Elves instead.

That's just it. This is AFTER Sauron was defeated. Just re-read it. ;)
