I've beginning to translate the Revenge - Final Conflict Mod into the English language (5 Missions are completed translated only 83 to go ) but i have a few Questions:

1.)  Because for Translation for the New Weapons in the Technical Database i must unpack the VP File of the MOD. But i don't know how i can pack the Files back into a VP File, which Tool i need for this?

2.) A other Problem is that i can't open the FC2 Files (Campaign is parted in 3 Parts) with Fred2 Open Campaign Editor to translate the Storydescription(s). I use the FS2 from the FTP Server, my FS2 CD's (German Version) aren't at home atm. So i haven't a "Normal" Fred2 Version here to try with it. EDIT: The Error Message is simple: "Couldn't open the Campaign File"

I hope somebody can help me.

Kazan (I think) once made a useful VP Constructor utility.  At the moment I can't find a download link, so I've uploaded my copy instead here .

As for a copy of FRED2...  Is FRED2 a stand alone module?  And if so, I could upload that for you too.

And for Fred.. oh i don't know. i think i need only a Original Fred 2.exe.

The version on the server is FRED2 1.00.  

The reason for this is so that people with the HotU version could download it and install the patch themselves.

You probably need FS2 1.2 to open the file. So either try to download and install the FS2 1.2 patch or wait for someone to post the 1.2 version fo FRED.
