Heheh. Given that the majority of all computer hardware is made in China/Taiwan, I'd say that's it's probably got more to do with environmental/climate conditions (dusty, dirty, damp etc)

DG: I've got an Antec TruePower 430w in my box, and it's great. Highly recommended. A mate of mine had a psu that actually blew a hole in his case when it died. Shot a capacitor right through the side panel...

I nearly thought I fried my computer the other day. I was having some stability difficulties hooking up an old HD for data transfer, and so I unplugged it then booted. The computer booted fine, so I shut it down and then shut down the computer and replugged it. Unfortunately, I accidentally restarted instead of shutting it down, and I temporarily shorted something on the motherboard or something. Worked fine after clearing the CMOS...
