http://www.syfyportal.com/article.php?id=1819 [q]When TrekUnited founder Tim Brazeal pulled the plug on his campaign to finance a fifth season of "Star Trek: Enterprise," he said the announcement came after talks between Paramount and who they claim was a Canadian producer broke down. He also said that Paramount Pictures would be issuing a statement acknowledging that talks between TrekUnited and Paramount had been taking place, despite Paramount denials of the such.
However, those waiting for that release to materialize might want to find something better to do.
A spokesman for Paramount told SyFy Portal Monday afternoon that all releases regarding Star Trek were posted at the official site, but that absolutely nothing was planned as far as a release on TrekUnited. The spokesman further went on to say that the claims of negotiations made by the campaign over the weekend are false.[/q]
http://tracker.thompson-web.org/forum/index.php?a=topic&t=1822[q]TrekUnited is now looking into the future and will continue to explore other means of bringing back Star Trek: Enterprise or another series. In light of Paramount's rejection of our current proposal, the campaign will restructure itself and discuss future approaches. We believe that in any case, we have shown and want to keep showing that Star Trek lives on through the fans, their optimistic vision of the future, and their commitment to make a difference, together. We will build upon our achievements of uniting fans world-wide in the past two months and intend to continue to establish a global fan organization and uplifting community for all Star Trek fans.[/q] (uhh, so where does the money go now?!)
