Yoda and the whole Jedi philosophy are wrong.
I've never seen it because I don't have cable.

Yoda and the whole Jedi philosophy are wrong.
I don't have cable as well, hasn't stopped me thus far. :p

The best thing since Firefly, and perhaps better.

Or perhaps not, since no-one in BSG has yet to say a line such as Mal's "My days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle."

No, you see, ZB is a different sort of fruit. He's very unlikely to have missed my saying "rock to no end" in the same sentence as I said "to blame", therefore, I highly doubt he took my usage of "to blame" as anything other than the sarcastic usage it was.

Ergo, he knows I like the new BSG, and thus the only reasonable explanation for his response is either that it is sarcastic, which, in this case, would be pointless, or that he doesn't like the new BSG.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Yoda and the whole Jedi philosophy are wrong.
Save that your "rock no end" referred not to the new BSG series, but the product of BSG's technical quality and Lucas' Star Wars story. It then becomes quite easy to assume that you were not sarcastic at all, but rather deadly serious; that is, you are suggesting that the effort put into making BSG would be better spent on a Star Wars series. Besides which, the inclusion of sarcasm appears a random and arbitrary thing.

Lesson for the day: don't mix and match sarcasm and truthful expression, people tend to end up getting hurt.

I think it's most likely ZB is being a pedantic sarky bastard for the sake of being...well,  a pedantic sarky bastard.

....:wtf:

Dude. Stop it.

70's BSG - okay-ish
00's BSG - concentrated awesome

70's-80's Star Wars - awesome
00's Star Wars - vaguely mediocre at its best

Ergo, BSG + Star Wars would rock. And why the hell can't we lay blame at someone's feet even if they did a GOOD JOB? Quit being picky. This has been talked about far too much already.
