I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

'cause Adobe has talked everyone into thinking it's a great format that is highly portable.  It is usefull if you want to publish a web book or something that is nothing but scanned pages, but using if for text only is a waste of space.

It's good for comics, as in this case.

It is portable. Haven't you noticed that word documents don't even render the same under differing versions of MS word? PDFs don't do that.

I hate their acrobat reader program though. Not that it really matters as I just use evince or ghostview instead.
Science alone of all the subjects contains within itself the lesson of the danger of belief in the infallibility of the greatest teachers in the preceding generation . . .Learn from science that you must doubt the experts. As a matter of fact, I can also define science another way: Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts. - Richard Feynman
